Our Vision…
To end homelessness in McHenry County one person at a time.

Our Mission…
To reconnect homeless men, women, and children with the community by providing emergency, transitional, and preventive services and to raise public understanding regarding homelessness in McHenry County.

Benefits of Giving

We guarantee PADS overhead expenses are kept to a minimum through in-kind donations like: graphic design and printing provided by Service Printing (Huntley) and M & M marketing (Crystal Lake), Direct Mail fullfillment by: Mailways in Crystal Lake, ServiceMaster by Pletz (Crystal Lake) all provide on-going in-kind contributions which help reduce PADS expenses. We are very grateful for all the support we receive that means more money goes directly to the programs that are so important in getting our clients re-connected back into the community.

If you have a business or service and would like to help with an in-kind contribution please email or call us.

We do not accept donations of clothing:
We no longer accept clothing donations. All clothing donations can be made to Centegra Outlet Shop on South St. Woodstock or Sparrow’s Nest Thrift Shop in McHenry/Woodstock or to the Clothing Closet in Woodstock. We have an agreement with the thrift shops that enable our clients to get clothing free of charge.
